Description

A set of six Victorian silver dessert forks from the rare and sought after York Assay Office. These good examples are in fiddle pattern and have the initial H engraved to the top front. Silver flatware is becoming rather scarce nowadays, with the unscrupulous melting for scrap that has been underway for a number of years. A surviving and matching set of six dessert forks from York is a wonderful find.
