Photos

Description

A fine silver serving or tablespoon from the reign of King George II. This good example is in the Hanoverian pattern and has no monograms or armorials engraved to the shank. This handsome piece has a shell and acanthus to the reverse of the bowl and is a superb collector's item.

Early silver tableware is always in demand and becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly early to mid 18th Century examples.
