Mrs Hoare and her infant son, a painting by Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792) This beautiful embroidery of a print on fabric (silk?)was worked by Mrs Norah Cleland, of Ripon, Yorkshire in 1910 - the details are on the reverse, together with original framers label of Henry Cook and Son, Ripon. Lovely rosewood frame with easel has gilt wood insert, the black glass framing the picture has gilt lines surrounding the picture. Picture can be wall hung or displayed on table top. Frame size 55cm x 48.5cm, embroidered panel size 24cm x 19cm.
