Picking Flowers near Grange by William Manners
Description
Reframed with new wash line mount.Signed and inscribed on verso.
William Manners (1860-1930) was a Yorkshire artist, born in Bradford, who painted almost entirely in watercolours and gouache. He lived in Otley before moving to The Lake District, where many of his scenes are painted.
He was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1893.
He had 3 works exhibited in the Royal Academy as well as exhibiting at the Royal Scottish Academy and the Walker Gallery in Liverpool.
