James Whaite (1881-1916) was a landscape painter who exhibited at Liverpool, the Royal Scottish Academy and the RA.
IN 1871 he was sent by his family to Conwy, N Wales, where he produced his early paintings.
In later life he lived in Liverpool and Cheshire.
