Description

A charming 19th Century English antique ash rocking chair with rush seat dating back to the reign of King George IV, circa 1830.

Originating from Lancashire.

With typical "nipple" capped uprights and spindle back, shaped arms, rush seat and turned front legs and stretchers, terminating on rockers.

Condition - Good colour as per images. All joints are sound. Rush-seat is robust and in tact.
