Late 18thC Antique Carved Treen Tobacco Jar

Description
An impressive late George III English antique treen tobacco jar.Beautifuly turned / carved, the lid with a handle tipped with an acorn finial above a shaped flange and below, the outer edge of the base of the lid has wonderful carved beads. The main body of the jar is carved with acanthus leaves and is supported by a raised circular foot.
The timber has acquired an excellent patina.
Condition - very good overall - no signs of splits or losses (as per images).
