Description

A large Staffordshire blue and white cheese dish dating from the 19th Century. The cover of this antique dish is decorated with figures, birds, flowers and foliage on a hatched medium blue background. This decoration is repeated on the stand. The condition is reasonably good, there is a very fine hairline crack to the inside of the cover, minor staining and chips to the underside of the stand, these small blemishes are to be expected from an antique piece that has been in use for over 100 years We have shown these in the photographs, more pictures can be seen on our website. A really lovely Victorian blue and white cheese dish that would look superb on any dining table or dresser.
