Description

A superb large 19th Century Chinese stoneware vase in the typical Jun blue and green tones on a pierced hardwood stand. The base of this antique baluster vase is decorated with incised scrolls and the domed cover has a shi-shi finial. There is evidence of early restoration to the finial but the general condition of the vase is excellent. The very generous proportions and subtle colours of this imposing oriental vase would be an important decorative focal point wherever displayed.
