An exceptional Chinese baluster vase with bud finial cover on a carved and pierced hardwood stand. This fabulous late 18th/early 19th Century oriental vase is painted with a continuous domestic scene of family and attendants. Painted in striking greens, iron red and complementing shades with trellis borders punctuated with flowers and precious objects. The condition of the vase is excellent with no chips, good glaze and crisp, well defined decoration. Standing on a square pierced hardwood stand, this elegant vase would be a stylish addition to any interior.
