Description

An updated walnut chest with a more contemporary feel.

Signed underneath one of the drawers by the craftsman maker and dated 1895.

Of solid walnut construction with a recent bleached look and finished with a durable matt lacquer. Originally this piece would have had a mirror section mounted to the top. Now missing with the fixing holes being filled with 8 walnut pellets as shown in the images. Cream base plinth with distressed edges and corners. Original brass pull handles.
