Almost 100 years old this practical chest of drawers has had a recent restoration.

Firstly you may be asking how we know this piece is close to being 100 years old? Easy, underneath one of the drawers is the signature of the craftsman who made it and a date of April 1925.

A 2 over 3 arrangement of drawers with their original drop handles. The exterior has been re-finished with a charcoal black paint. Edges have been gently rubbed to create a charming time worn appearance. The top being of solid walnut has been freshly cleaned and oiled, now showing a superb colour and grain pattern.

Minimal evidence of previous use, and to the top someone has been naughty and left a scorch mark, probably a cigarette being allowed to burn down…….all part of its history.
