Description
At least 250 years old and possibly a little older this chest displays wonderfully, full of character and history.Dome lidded trunk of timber construction with a leather covering. Stud work decoration and initials of MGC to top. Corners and straps to front of worked metal with decorative edge detail. Forged handles to both ends with a hasp and staple lock (lacking key).
A truly decorative antique that wears its history for all to see but is all the better for it.
