Description
A decorative pair of late 19th century tea canisters.Originally used in a grocery shop these would have stored the loose tea ready to be mixed as per the customers preference.
Made and supplied by the shopfitting firm Parnalls of Bristol circa 1880. Finished in a green paint with gilt numbers and decoration. Evidence of their working life, dents and scratches present.
