Description

Mid to late 19th century and made by the renowned company of Mappin & Webb.

Of solid oak construction this impressive silver chest shows a lovely glow to the timber.

Used to store a family’s silver, this trunk retains its original interior tray, lining paper of marble effect and remnants of the green baize lining. It would be possible to replace the baize however we wanted to keep the piece as original as possible.

Iron bound for added security this piece is extremely heavy but would make for a fantastic coffee table.
