A superb late 19th century shop counter in pitch pine.

This item has the most wonderful, tactile feel to it. Originally made as a counter and as is quite often the case with these antiques, at some point they get re-purposed as workshop benches. Cleaned and waxed it’s now ready to be used again with all the evidence of its previous working life on show.

The bank of 20 drawers of various depths offer plenty of storage. To the ends and what would have been the customer side tongue and groove panelling.

Ideal to be employed as a sideboard, could be used as an island in a kitchen or even dare we suggest back as its intended use as a shop counter.
