Description
A beautiful black lacquer standard lamp in the Chinoiserie style, circa 1920s.The turned column and base with figures and foliage against the black ground being highlighted with gilt decoration. In very good condition, some wear to base as to be expected.
Complete with a bespoke, handmade shade in black silk supplied by a local specialist maker. Very Downton Abbey.
Replaced electrical components to British standards.
