Description
Early 19th Century bookrest in solid mahogany.An ingenious piece of design crafted in wood. It has a steep and shallow rake option with a further three settings to fine tune the desired angle. Extendible arms to support an open book with a hinged base to support your display. When not required the whole is hinged and folds within itself for ease of storage.
Originally intended to be used with books we think this would be a perfect item to display a painting or as we have shown ideal for an iPad.
In good overall condition, evidence of previous use as to be expected. Lacking pegs.
