Description

A 19th century girandole mirror that has the glorious faded appeal of Dickens Miss Havisham and Satis House.

In completely original, untouched condition with wear to gilding and losses to the gesso....but for this we love it all the more so.

While with us we have taken to calling it the Miss Havisham mirror but upon close inspection we may have to change that name. In the top left hand corner of the glass someone has engraved what we believe to be a name.....Colin. Was this completed by a naughty chap leaving his mark? However we like to think just like Miss Havisham it refers to an unrequited love.
