Typical decoration of the period, classical columns, spheres and lions head masks make this a desirable item.


Condition report.

Wear to gilt with evidence of retouching, rubbing of surface exposing red undercoat and gesso, cracking of gesso in places and a replaced mirror........however after all that a usable piece of period furniture that wears it's almost 200 years of use. A gloriously imperfect item that in our opinion is all the better for it.
