Description

This Arts and Crafts bureau bookcase is made of solid oak and has a drawer, fall front and arrangement of shelves.

With pierced decoration, attractive metal work, flattened cornice and planked back this is a fine and practical example of Arts and Crafts design.

In overall very good condition presented in a warm, golden oak waxed finish. To the underside of the drawer is the date of January 12th 1909, presumably the date of this pieces completion.

In good condition for age, usual signs of previous use however nothing of serious detriment.
