Description

A mahogany, William IV chest of drawers circa 1835.

To the drawer fronts a fantastic grained cut of timber glows with a warm colour and sheen. Solid mahogany handles are complimented with ebony, lozenge shaped escutcheons. Either side of the drawers are classic style columns.

All locks are present but no key. To one of the locks is stamped WR underneath the Royal crown.

In good antique condition, signs of previous use, a few dinks, old repairs and a stain to the top....but nothing serious, all add to the character of a piece nearly 200 years old.
