Description

This is a magnificent Antique Ariston Organette Music Box Organ, made c1885, which plays cardboard music discs and is in working order, with it playing the notes as the music disc rotates, when the crank handle is turned. Please note, there is a little background noise, so may require a little tweak somewhere to reduce it.

It is in good condition but does exhibit some age-related wear to the cabinet and measures approximately 40cm by 40cm square and 22cm high, not including the crank handle.

There's no music discs included but we do have several available for purchase separately, please message us if you require more information.

The Ariston Organette is a 24-note machine with interchangeable music titles in the form of perforated hard cardboard discs with a diameter of 33cm and was the most successful table music box organ at the end of the 19th century.
