'The History Of England From The Accession of James II' by Thomas Babington Macaulay. Volumes I and II dated 1849, Volumes III and IV dated 1855 and Volume V dated 1861.

The work is complete in five volumes, each three quarter bound in calf leather with marbled board, red and black title panels, gilt stamped decoration and five raised bands to the spine. All volumes' exteriors are in a very good condition.

Small stamp to front pastedown of each volume. Each volume has some spotting to the preliminary pages but are otherwise all in a very good condition internally.

A handsome set.
