Description

This is a large scale fob, finished in gilt metal and holding a lovely, square, milky, chalcedony that is plan and flat so, if you wished, you could have it engraved.
It is a fob that would have caught the attention, hanging from the end of a gold watch chain, or Albert, outside a waistcoat. It glitters and shines and would have given a very good impression about the wearer, probably a Victorian gent of some status.
Now, in the 21stC, it makes a perfect accessory, perhaps as a pendant, or a desk piece, or sitting on show with a jewellery collection. And wouldn't it make a tremendous present for a collector of antique fobs?
Please do note the scale: it is larger than standard at 3.2 cms tall
