Description

A very good example of the American Waltham Watch Company's work.
Clean and very tidy, in a silver case, complete with key. The gilt metal movement, with Breguet spring, by Am.Watch Co. runs well.
The case is hallmarked for 1899 with the maker's mark of A.B, the registered mark of AWWCo between 1879 and 1900.
Using the serial number on the movement, it is possible to check the information abut this watch's manufacture and those confirm that it was made in 1898.

A very nice watch indeed, with a good heft and solid feel
