Description

A 19th century Victorian mahogany hall or console table.

The table has a raised back that has an overhanging mould to the edge and a shield in the centre.

The table has turned legs and an ash lined drawer that has a mahogany front and pierced back brass handle.

The rear of the table has a retailer's label for "J.Moffet & Son House Furnishers Carlisle", Moffet also had premises in Glasgow in the 19th century and throughout the 20th century.

The hall table is in very good condition. (Circa 1880)
