Description
An unusual and impressive 19th Century Cranberry Glass & Ormolu Scent Bottle in the form of a Ewer or Flask.The Ormolu mount is pierced and the Collar has Scrolled Leaf detail and supports the curved pouring Spout.The Handle is a Nude Winged Lady. The Stopper is also Ormolu with scrolled mounts and holds the original clear Glass Stopper.It stands 13.7"High (max) and Base Diam is 6cms.Excellent condition.French c.1890.I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
