Description
A charming Georgian Silk, Wool Embroidered and Painted on Silk picture of a Young Girl carrying Basket of Fruit.It is set in a period Giltwood Frame with Verre Eglomise Glass. The colours are still bright and the Embroidery and Painting still in excellent condition. There is a fine split in the Silk across the Sky but this is not noticeable unless close up to the image.Dimensions are :_ 36cms X 30cms Maz. C.1800-1820I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
