Description
A Tortoiseshell Etui By Ling & Co Cornhill, contains Assorted Sewing Tools of which some are original to the Box. The Scissors are an obvious replacement as they do not sit neatly into space.The Needles Box and Thimble are original. c.1830.The Box has a Gilt Cartouche on Lid.Snaps shut.Tortoiseshell still very bright with no damage.c.1830. 13.x.7.5.x.2.5cmsI am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antiques Emporium,Lewes,E.Sussex and also The Arcade, The Corn Exchange,The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells..If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in either Shop.
