Superb 19th century Ebony Standish with all over Scrolled Brass Boullework,concave on all sides,two lift off lids revealing storage compartments,Cut Glass Inkwell with Brass Collar inscribed 'Mallish & Co..London. Drawer in Base with concave front.All raised on four flat bun Feet and original red Felt lining.Excellent condition.English c.1840-50I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
