Original Pine Meat Safe Larder Cabinet

Description

Probably made in the Late Victorian era up to perhaps 1920s when homes didn't have electricity . Looks like all the mesh is original and the paintwork looks terrific

I think the top has some kind of material/plastic protection on , its been there a long long time and matches the frame, colour wise

looks as though it has had a covering over the mesh at sometime inits life as you can see where the drawing pins have been

A superb original piece of kitchen history

It has a real old shabby chic look about it as it has several coats of paint

The cabinet could be stripped and polished or waxed to match your decor or just cleaned and waxed to keep the rustic shabby look that only time can create. It would also look awesome if it were painted in a different period colour

Perfect for a rustic country farmhouse type kitchen or great for in a hall or bedroom, would also look great as an accent piece in a living / dining room the possibilities are endless
