These large substantial dining chairs have an extremely impressive look and if you study the images I am sure you will see the tremendous amount of skill that went into their making
The backs are profusely carved and in the "Ribbon Back" stye with wonderful detail especially on the top rail
The seat has a shaped front and the seats just drop in , this will allow the new owner to re-upholster is required
the front legs are quite spectacular with the sharp carving and the large ball and claw feet, I would dread to think what a comparable set of chairs would cost today
