This is a wonderful solid oak bookcase on cupboard base, in the Art Nouveau style

It is made entirely from solid oak a very decorative timber and one which was used much in the Victorian era, it has a great Art Nouveau look about it

The 2 large panelled doors in the base open to reveal a huge amount of storage space with a shelf in the centre, the cabinet is much larger than it looks in the images and is also quite deep.

The glazed door top section is removable for transport, inside there are 2 shelves, it would easily take 3 as there are many slots to accommodate extra shelf supports

This is a fantastic piece of furniture and has the ability to visually transform any room it may be fitted into
DateArt Nouveau DimensionsThe maximum measurements are 50 inches wide, 18.75 inches deep and 8 ConditionThe cabinet is in good structural condition with no signs of woodworm or serious damage ,and could be used immediately. There is a small nibble to the point of the cornice but this is hardly visible because of its height when the cabinet is in place The top of the base has a small split but this is under where the top sits, so again is hardly visible I have tried to photograph these. The bookcase has some cosmetic blemishes and does show some signs of previous use.
