A very splendid Carltonware Rouge Royale bowl on gilded feet. It is painted in enamels and with the ruby lustre looks quite stunning. The piece is maked as can be seen in the photo of the backstamp but oddly it is quite hard to see with the naked eye. Collectors of carltonware will I am sure be familiar with this pattern.Date1930s :
