Description
A Georgian II oak bureau, probably Scottish because of the unusual drawer configuration, having inlay to the fall front. This front opens to rest on the 2 small drawers to either side rather than lopers and reveals a fitted interior with cupboard, drawers, compartments and secret drawers with black leather writing surface. The drawers have brass swan necked handles and there is a key which locks one of the drawers. The whole stands on bracket feet. This piece of furniture is ideal for a home office as it would accommodate a laptop and when not in use, stands alone as an attractive addition to any room.
