Description

This is a fine quality piece of furniture made by Gillows & Co in the late 19th Century, and consequently the workmanship is to an exceptionally high standard. It is a mahogany washstand with two drawers under a marble top which is galleried around three sides. There is a repair to the marble on the right hand side gallery which can be seen in the accompanying photographs. It stands on turned legs with brass castors. The Gillows & Co stamp can be seen on the top of the right hand drawer front and bears the number 2023, also visible in the accompanying photographs. (Our Stock Code S216)
