Description

William IV Silver Campaign/Travelling Lidded Cup Beaker with silver and wood (fruitwood?) detachable handle.
When unscrewed the handle fits inside the cup for safe, compact storage/travel.
Fully hallmarked (on the rim and on the bottom of the lid) for:
London 1837, King's head and TD for Thomas Dicks.
Condition is great for the age: clean free from any monograms, hinges work well and the lid closes well. The handle is lined with cork and unscrews well but the thread is slightly loose. Tiny piece of the handle silver mount is missing but this does not affect the look or use of the beaker. Minor dents to the bottom rim. As shown in photos.
Total weight 210g.
Very tactile item. Heavy gauge silver.
