Description

19C Mahogany Satinwood Banded 6 Drawer Serpentine Chest. The top having satinwood cross banding flanked by boxwood and ebony stringing to the edge with line inlay along the side edges. Three short over 3 long oak lined drawers having shaped brass escutcheons and oval brass flower embossed ring drop handles again with satinwood cross banded edges with boxwood and ebony outline stringing. All flanked by cantered corners with an urn inlay above interlaced string with flower head inlays. Stringing across the base on shaped bracket feet with cantered corners. The small centre drawer stamped T.Wilson, 68 Great Queen Street,London.
