Fine Quality Edwardian Satinwood Inlaid 4 Drawer Wellington Chest.The top having a kingwood crossbanded edge with a ebony & boxwood outline stringing with a further double inner stringing. A cavetto moulding below the top over a double strung moulding over an inlaid tied swag frieze flanked by oval inlaid panels with a moulding below. The 4 polished mahogany lined drawers again having kingwood banded edges around inlaid foliate scrolls with brass knob handles. These flanked by inlaid trailing harebells with line inlaid frames. The right hand pillar is a hinged locking bar with a brass lock inscribed Chubb 128 Queen Victoria St. London. The sides having a double strung panel as dose the back with square corner pillars with moulded decoration and stringing. The base with a thumb moulded edge on square tapered strung legs with small corner brackets and spade feet.
