Good Quality Edwardian Mahogany Satinwood Cross Banded Carlton House Desk. The top having a fine open frett brass gallery with satinwood banded edge having boxwood and ebony strung edge. The banding runs down to sloped lids to compartments with void interiors these flank concave shaped cupboard doors having oval flared panels with strung frames same panels to the central door which is flanked by 6 oak lined drawers all having satinwood banded edges and brass oval plate ring handles. All surrounding a leather writing surface. Three oak lined drawers below having the same banding and handles. Strung panels above the square strung tapered legs sitting on brass castors. The bowed back with 3 panels to top section having banded frames with strung divisions. The same to the base which also has a moulded edge.
