William 1V Mahogany 'Chamber' Writing Table by Gillows Lancaster. The top having a lidded pen tray and half round edge with round corners. The interior of pentray having ebonised pen tray flanked by open boxes for inkwell and knibs also stamped by maker. The mahogany lined drawer having the original knob handles with a moulded edge below. On slender turned and reeded legs with vase shaped feet having brass cap castors.DateWilliam IV
