Antique Gold-Filled Open Face Pocket Watch
with Gold Filled Chain, Swiss 1920

A gold-filled open face pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1920. The pocket watch is complete with a gold-filled chain.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: “Swiss Made”.

MOVEMENT: The anchor lever movement is fully screwed and is signed: “Rands, Swiss Made”. The movement is in excellent working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.

CASE: The watch lies in a gold-filled open face ALD case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is signed: “MOON, Trade Mark, ALD Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd” and numbered: 620242. The inner side of the cuvette is signed: “English Make, Guaranteed to be made of Two Plates of 10 Ct Gold with Plate of Composition Between and to wear 20 years” and numbered: 620242.

The cuvette is decoratively signed: Present from Father & Mother to Sam Breedon on His 21st Birthday, March 2nd 1923.
