Victoran Silver Fruit Knife Hallmarked for Birmingham 1840
and with the maker`s mark - A.H, for Aaron Hadfield
Pepper Alley, Far Gate, Sheffield.

An excellent, medium/large fruit knife.
The blade opens and closes correctly - snaps at 90 degrees and snaps at fully open, and snaps closed.
Mother of Pearl facings to both sides, with tulip shaped non hinge end. Ornate decorated silver back. Vacant silver cartouche.
Long pointed blade showing virtually no wear.

Beautiful condition. 183 years old. No undescribed faults.

Open length:- 139 millimetres.
Closed length:- 78 mms.
Weight:- 20.2 grams.
