William IIII Silver Fruit Knife
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1830
The maker`s mark - IN for Joseph Newill, High Street, Sheffield.

A delightful, medium/large sized fruit knife.
The blade opens and closes correctly - snaps at 90 degrees and snaps at fully open, and snaps closed.
Mother of Pearl facings to both sides, with a star engraved round each rivet. Note the unusual crown shape at the non hinge end.
Ornately engraved decor along the back edge of the blade, front and back.

Beautiful condition. 193 years old. No undescribed faults.

Closed length:- 77 mms.
Weight:- 21.9 grams.
