A good, plain, Victorian Vesta Case.Hallmarked for Birmingham 1898.
With the maker`s mark - ...&Y
A completely plain vesta in very good condition.
Highly polished - perhaps a little too much.
I can`t quite make out the maker`s details.
Oval shaped to slip easily into a waistcoat pocket.
A good spring - opens and closes correctly.
Measures:- 48 x 31 x 12 millimetres.
1.89 x 1.22 x 0.47 inches.
17.3 grams / 0.56 ounces.
