A delightful Silver Tea Strainer.
A must for anyone who prefers to make their tea with tea leaves.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1937.
The maker`s mark - P.Bros for Purcell Brothers of
Hockley Street, Birmingham.

With the broad rest on one side and the long handle on the other,
it will fit a really wide cup, up to 10cms/4 ins. wide, and the bowl is small enough to fit a tiny tea cup.
The half round bowl is pierced with a large number of very small holes - only the smallest of tea leaf dust will get through.

Excellent unused condition with no faults.
Overall length:- 124 millimetres / 4.88 inches.
Bowl width:- 57 mms. / 2.24 ins.
Silver weight:- 31.3 grams / 1.01 ounces.
