A large pair of Kings Pattern Sugar Tongs.
Victorian hallmark for London 1851 and with the maker`s mark - H.H, for Henry Holland of Holland, Aldwinckle and Slater.

See the Honeysuckle on the back of the bowl. This gives the pattern its full proper name of Kings Honeysuckle.

These tongs are very heavy and typical Kings Pattern.
More than double the weight of most bright cut tongs.
No initials on the bow - see picture 6.

Could have many different serving uses - sausages, fish cakes etc
