Description

A superb example of The Anointing Spoon. Dessert size, and in unused condition. Hallmarked for London 1910 and produced to commemorate the Coronation of King George V (Grandfather of QEII)
The maker`s mark is CSFS, for Cornelius Saunders & Frank Shepherd

The original Anointing Spoon dates to the 14th.century and forms part of the Royal Regalia.

Superb condition with original gilding in the bowl.
