Description

A superb, medium sized Vinaigrette with a cast top.
An oval cartouche between two flower stems.
The underside engraved with a vase of flowers and trailing ferns.
The grill, a central flower and flowering foliage all round.
The whole of the inside is gilded a pleasing mellow colour.
Top and bottom thumb catches on the front edge - picture 5.
Hallmarks divided between top and bottom - picture 4.

Hallmarked for Birmingham 1821, with the maker`s mark - T&WS, for
Thomas & William Simpson
